Calming Cleanser has been chosen multiple times by estheticians as Best Acne Cleanser.  It is powerful in reducing acne and yet gentle enough for dry and sensitive skin types. It has effective bacterial action for P-acnes and other bacteria and their acne promoting lipases and is also recommended for rosacea and acne rosacea.  The turmeric adds anti-inflammatory benefits and also blocks the actions of 5 alpha-reductase, which converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone, reducing sebum production and eliminating acne infections.  The marjoram blocks interleukin-6 tumor necrosis factor-alpha and histamine which is generated by free fatty acids within the follicles.
